I’m starting an “About Me” category, in case I have any readers that don’t know me already :-) Today’s topic is the list of the Apple products I own, because it’s a funny way to start this series.

Macs

• PowerBook G4 (12-Inch DVI) — 1 GHz, September 2003
• PowerMac G5 (June 2004) — Dual 2 GHz
• Mac mini (Late 2006) — Core Duo 1.83 GHz, September 2006

iPods

• iPod color display — 4G, 60 GB, June 2005
• iPod shuffle (2nd generation) — 2 GB, Red, February 2008

iPhone

• iPhone 3G — 16 GB, Black, July 2008

Misc

• AirPort Extreme (802.11n) — February 2007
• PowerMac G4 (Digital Audio) — 733 MHz with 1.2 GHz CPU upgrade, January 2001, currently unused

I use all of them except the PowerMac G4 (I might recommission it to play Deux Ex again, though). It’s a matter of days until the PowerBook is replaced by a 15-Inch MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz.

AirPort, Apple, Mac, iPhone, iPod

I plan to write a small (web)app to mark all items in my NewsGator account as read so I can use Cyndicate on my Macs and NetNewsWire on my iPhone. Let’s see how it turns out.
